We recently caught up with an awesome artist friend of ours, Rebecca Wallis, who was in town during Art Week. She was exhibiting some of her new work at the Asia Contemporary Art Show – and we couldn’t wait to see it.
Parents often have to find creative ways to communicate with their children - and ours were no different. We tend to reflect on our childhood and wonder what it was that fostered our interest and curiousity for language. After all, we've both found ourselves professional copywriters and creative communicators.
In an age where famous love quotes are reduced to words over a stockphoto on Instagram or retweeted and hash-tagged to an indeterminate audience - our lives have become bundles of big data on social media, diluted beyond anything distinctive or engaging. Where’s the mystery? The romance? The heartfeltness? The thrill of proclaiming unwavering, undying feelings? That secret shared moment of pure connection with another?

We often find it hard to listen to music while writing. Too many lyrics with too many words that accidentally find their way into copy (oops!). But we love the new London alt-pop band Vaults - they've got that vibe that soothes the cogs of a working brain and keeps us chilled and churning out the good stuff.
